James Gray departing Ingram Content Group Inc.

La VERGNE, TN – Ingram Content Group Inc., the leader in content services for the book industry, today announced that James R. Gray, Chief Strategy Officer, will be leaving the company at the end of the year.

Mr. Gray joined Ingram in December 2006 following the purchase by Ingram. of Mr. Gray's company Coutts Information Services and its sister company MyiLibrary. These businesses provide print and eBook distribution services to academic libraries the world over.

Skip Prichard, President and CEO of the Ingram Content Group, said today: "James has been a valuable part of our Ingram team over the past three years, and we are thankful for his contributions in helping to make our digital products market leaders. We appreciate his service and wish him the very best."

On joining Ingram, Mr. Gray took the role of CEO of Ingram Digital, a new division that spearheaded Ingram's investment into the digital distribution space. Following the integration of Ingram Digital into the Ingram Content Group, Mr. Gray was the Chief Strategy Officer for the Ingram Content Group companies.

“After three exciting years in Nashville with Ingram, during a period of unprecedented change in our industry, it is time for me to move on,” Mr. Gray said. “I am delighted to have been able to play a role in bringing digital capabilities to Ingram Content Group.
